The 2026 LWML CNH Convention in Sacramento will be the 3rd District Convention where we will vote electronically for our Mission Grants, Officers, and Bylaw Changes. Here are some changes you should know about.

1. Voting Delegates must complete a Voters Registration Form before February 28, 2026, to be able to vote for the Mission Grants. As you might remember, we vote for the mission grants in March so we can print the Mission Grant Bookmarks prior to convention. The bookmarks will then be available for you to take back to your groups at the end of the Convention. These bookmarks help us keep the Mission Grants in front of us throughout the biennium.
2. Voting Delegates will register online starting in January, 2026. This allows for the Electronic Voting team to prepare the ballots for the early voting and then for the voting done at the Convention.
3. Voting Delegates will also complete the Convention Registration form which will be sent in the first and second Convention packets.

Next Steps:

1. Please select your Zone and Group/Society Voting delegates as soon as possible and have them complete the Voter Registration by March 1, 2026. (Note: VPs and Zone Presidents please forward this information to your Groups/Societies ASAP)
2. In early January, the VP of Convention Planning will send out the first Convention Packet. It will contain all the Convention information we have at that point.
3. The Executive Committee and Board of Directors will meet on the weekend of February 20 & 21, 2026. The BOD will finalize the Mission Grants, Candidates for Offices, and Bylaws updates for the Convention.
4. The second Convention Packet, which is sent out in early March, will contain all the information you need for the Convention.
5. The registered Voting Delegates will receive electronic ballots for the Mission Grant selection in March. Once the vote is complete, the Mission Grant Bookmarks will be printed in time for the Convention in Sacramento, CA, April 24-26, 2026.

The Women in Mission group at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Santa Rosa gathered in November for a joyful Harvest Brunch and devotion centered on gratitude, drawn from the Gratitude Sessions Bible study series. Surrounded by the warmth of fellowship and thanksgiving, the women reflected on the blessings of the season before turning their gratitude into action.

Following brunch, the group came together for a hands-on service project — assembling Christmas gift bags for teen girls served by Our Village Closet (OVC), a local ministry (renting space on St. Luke’s campus) supporting foster children and families. Each bag was filled with thoughtful gifts and personal care items to remind the girls that they are loved, valued, and remembered during the holidays.

It was a morning filled with laughter, reflection, and purpose — a beautiful reminder that gratitude grows when it’s shared.

“Tea-rrific” was a lovely tea hosted by LWML CNH Region III (Zones 1, 2, 7, 8 and 18) on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Milpitas, CA. LWML CNH sponsored the social event, which was an afternoon tea followed by a program highlighting the talents and mission work of dedicated women.

Ninety-three women and four men from 22 churches enjoyed a wonderful, educational, inspirational, and fun day blessed by God! It was awesome to hear the guest speakers share their “Mission Moment”…the personal testimony of three recent mission grants recipients. President Roxan Schwab also shared about several mission grants and how blessed she has been to personally deliver mission grant checks to many grant recipients. Our mighty mites have a far-reaching impact on sharing the Gospel with others.

All who attended Tea-rrific enjoyed delicious food, singing together, seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Each created a flower vase to take home as a keepsake.
