How You Can Share Your Story on the LWML CNH Blog

Have you ever felt that your story — your group’s journey, your mission experience, your small moment of encouragement — could help someone else? At LWML CNH, we believe that God uses everyday voices to share His extraordinary love. That’s why we created our Inspiration Blog: to amplify your stories of how God is at work in and through LWML women across California, Nevada, and Hawaii.

You don’t need to be a professional writer or have an extraordinary testimony to contribute. Your story could be the exact encouragement someone else needs to stay connected, try something new, or see their own purpose more clearly. When you share your story, you’re building a network of hope, faith, and sisterhood.

Here are some examples of stories we’re looking for:

• Group Highlights – What’s something new your group tried this year? A service project, themed meeting, or fellowship event?
• Personal Reflections – Share how being involved in LWML has impacted your faith walk.
• Mission Moments – Tell us how your group supported a grant recipient or participated in a mission trip.
• Faith in Action – Describe a time you saw God move through a small act of service or kindness.
• Creative Ideas – Have a new idea that helped grow your group, made a devotion more meaningful, or brought women together in a new way?

Whether it’s a joyful celebration, a small struggle, or a creative win — if it blessed you, it can bless others.

We’ve made it easy for you to contribute. Here’s how to get started:

1. 1. Pray First
      Ask God to guide your words and bless those who will read them.
   2. Choose Your Story
      Think of a moment that stands out. What happened? Who was involved? What did you learn?
   3. Write from the Heart
      Keep your tone conversational and personal. Think of it as telling a friend what happened.
   4. Aim for 300–600 words.
      Always include photos if you have them (and permission to share!).
   5. Check Our Submission Guidelines: 
      • Please provide short articles about future activities or successful past activities.
      • Try to limit your articles to 100 – 200 words. Include a title for your article.
      • Provide your name, position, zone #.
      • Photos, when available, are highly encouraged. Please provide a short caption.
      • Articles may be sent as an attachment in Word or typed in the body of your email. Include “JOYFUL SERVANT SUBMISSION” in the subject line of your email.
   6. Submit Your Article
      Send your story and any attachments to: News Editor
