Make Plans Now to Celebrate LWML Sunday!

Although LWML Sunday is traditionally celebrated on the first Sunday in October, Lutheran Women in Mission Sunday can be celebrated any time. This is a great opportunity to include your congregation in celebrating Lutheran Women in Mission and honoring their joyful service. The gospel-centered outreach and support for missions worldwide enrich both the Church and the lives they touch.

This year’s theme begins a four-year cycle focusing on the LWML Mission Statement — As Lutheran Women in Mission, we joyfully proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others. For Lutheran Women in Mission Sunday 2025, we focus on Proclaiming Christ.
