Meet the LWML CNH Executive Committee

Bev Vietor, from Zone 19, has served in several roles in the past, including VP of Gospel Outreach (2016-2024) and LWML Ambassador, an appointed position (2024-2026).

It was April 2016 at the LWML CNH convention in Visalia that “Penny” connected with the purple ladies. By the end of the convention, she had found her purpose, as Vice President of Gospel Outreach for the next 8 years. Penny became the spokesperson for LWML mites, and Pennies for Eternity was her motto. Her passion for collecting mites turned into the Mighty Mites of LWML CNH.

For the last 2 years Penny served as District Ambassador. Then the government stopped producing pennies. She guessed it was no more Penny, after all she was 75 years old. Dear Penny, who thought she was worthless, was surprised at the April 2026 convention. Zap. God does magical things with us. Meet President Penny, Bev Vietor. Martha Dubke, from Zone 12, began her LWML journey in 1983, when she and her husband, Rev. Dr. Dallas D. Dubke came to Red Bluff, California, to serve St. Paul Lutheran Church and Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Corning, CA.

She served in various positions at the local and zone levels until she was elected in 1996 to serve as LWML CNH Zone 12 President. She has served several times as Zone President. Martha had the privilege of serving as Director of First Aid at the LWML Convention in San Jose, California (2001). She was elected District President (2018) after serving as District Parliamentarian for two years.

Over the years, Martha has worn many hats—Spanish Language High School teacher, homeschool mom, Masterworks choir member, church secretary, altar guild member, and Spanish/English interpreter/translator.

The last few years, she has had the privilege of being called Grandma/Mimi by three wonderful grandchildren.
She looks forward to serving you as Vice President of Organizational Resources, and along with her committees, working on Bylaws and Leadership Development.

Aloha from Zone 11! Susan describes herself as “a joyous child of God.” She has served as Zone 11 President for two terms. God has since nudged her to serve the Lord with gladness at the district level in the position of Financial Secretary for LWML CNH.

Susan has a business background in accounting and systems analysis, though she has been retired nearly 20 years. She has lived in Pāhoa, Hawaii, with her husband, John, since 2008 and is a gardener, textile crafter, beekeeper, and culinary creator.

Aloha! Jennifer Stager, from Zone 11, feels blessed to be part of the LWML ‘ohana in Oahu, Hawaii. She attends Trinity Lutheran Church in Wahiawa, where she serves as LWML Group Vice President. She also has the joy of serving as the LWML Zone 11 Secretary.

LWML holds a special place in her heart because of the strong sense of community, encouragement, and shared mission it brings. Jennifer truly enjoys serving at all levels of LWML and is grateful for the many opportunities to grow in faith alongside such dedicated and inspiring women. Outside of church, she enjoys reading and running marathons.

Jan, from Zone 19, describes herself as a baptized child of God, a mom, a Lutheran, and blessed to be a Pastor’s wife. She has a broad teaching background that included 28 years as a school teacher, 13 years as a Corporate Trainer, and 6 years as a Theological Instructor in Kenya. Add to that, 50 years as a Sunday School teacher and LWML sister, and you have an amazing background to serve as Vice President of Gospel Outreach for the CNH District. To God be the glory.

Cathey King, from Zone 3, will tell you she is “the blessed daughter of the one true KING!” Her passion is Bible journaling with Visual Faith Ministries. She loves to share Visual Faith practices with others, facilitate Bible studies, read, craft, and plan interesting and exciting retreats for LWML CNH members.

Guten Tag, from Barbara, from Zone 19! Although Barbara was raised by an active LWML mother and knew a lot about LWML, she did not become an active member until after retirement, just as things were opening up again after Covid in late 2021. Somewhere along the line, word got out that she was a retired CPA with a lot of financial experience. Despite her lack of LWML experience, she was recruited to serve as the LWML CNH Treasurer in April 2024.

In January 2024, Barbara became a part-time missionary in former East Germany, serving about 5 months each year abroad. The district, aware of this obligation, moved the accounting and banking on-line, so she could continue to serve as Treasurer from abroad.

Barbara shared, “While I always respected LWML, I have grown to love the organization and the work it does both locally and internationally. I am proud to serve as your Treasurer and look forward to the new biennium.”
